Course Overview
Our 5-day, instructor-led ICND2 (Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices, Part 2) training and certification boot camp in Washington, DC Metro, Tysons Corner, VA, Columbia, MD or Live Online is directed toward IT network professionals who work with medium-sized switched and routed networks. It covers:
- VLSM & IPv6 addressing
- Extending switch networks with VLANs
- Determining IP routes
- Managing IP traffic with access lists
- Establishing point-to-point connections
This course builds on the concepts learned in ICND1 to prepare you for the CCNA® Certification.
Prerequisites: You must have successfully completed the ICND1 Certification Training course before enrollment. You should also have hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches, a strong understanding of networking, and a firm grasp of the OSI model, IP subnetting and IP addressing.

Upon registration completion candidates are sent an automated course registration email that includes attachments with specific information on the class and location as well as pre-course study and test preparation material approved by the course vendor. The text of the email contains a registration confirmation as well as the location, date, time and contact person of the class.
Online enrolment closes three days before course start date.
On the first day of class, candidates are provided with instructions to register with the exam provider before the exam date.

We suggest students take about month prior to a training class to self study, take a full length training class and then continue to focus on study areas that the instructor identifies as needing their attention for 1-3 weeks after the class before sitting for the exam.
