Course Overview

This one day, instructor led Motivating Your Workforce course provides supervisors, managers, and leaders with the knowledge and tools to inspire and engage their teams. Participants will explore the fundamentals of motivation, key motivational theories, and practical strategies to create a motivating work environment. Through goal-setting techniques, values alignment, and job design strategies, attendees will learn how to enhance workplace motivation and drive performance. At the completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the importance of motivation in the workplace and its impact on performance.
  • Identify key motivators and how they influence employee engagement.
  • Explore major motivational theories and their application in leadership.
  • Develop effective goal-setting strategies using the SPIRIT framework.
  • Recognize the role of values in motivation and workplace satisfaction.
  • Apply reinforcement, expectancy, and needs-based theories to create a motivational climate.
  • Analyze real-world situations and case studies to develop motivational strategies.
  • Design jobs that enhance motivation and employee fulfillment.
