Course Overview
This one day, instructor led Excel Intermediate course with Google Sheets builds on the basic concepts and skills of our Introduction to Excel course to provide more advanced tools for analysis and presentation of complex, realistic data in Microsoft Excel. At the completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Identify afferences and similarities between Excel and Google Sheets
- Determine the pros and cons of using Excel and Google Sheets
- Manage workbooks and customize the Excel environment
- Use named ranges in formulas
- Organize Excel tables and how to sort data
- Use PivotTables
- Use conditional formatting
- Use special chart features
- Implement permissions to control access to and prevent changes in your workbook
