Course Overview
This course balances instruction, hands on lab exercises and knowledge checks to introduce the learner to the fundamental concepts of Kong Gateway, including managing Kong Gateway, designing an API, and exposing the API through Kong Gateway.

- Introduction to APIs and API Management – Learn what an API is and how it is managed throughout the API lifecycle
- Introduction to Kong Gateway – Learn about the core concepts and components of the Gateway, such as deployment options, gateway entities and more
- Getting started with Kong Enterprise – Learn about how Kong Gateway is extended with enterprise features. You will learn how to configure APIs with a hands-on lab.
- Getting started with Kong Konnect – Learn about the key components of Konnect. You will learn how to configure APIs on the gateway with a hands-on lab.
- Introduction to Kong Plugins – Get an overview of what Plugins are and how they are used to extend the Kong Gateway.
