Course Overview
This five day Linux+ training course instructs professionals on the most current vendor-neutral skills and knowledge of the Linux Operating System. This training can be taken either in-person or through our live virtual classroom. This course is intended to help IT, System and Network professionals begin or further their careers by teaching them to effectively install, configure and maintain a Linux workstation and work within the command line. It covers:
- Use the standard Linux C libraries
- Utilize most of the standard Linux development tools
- Store data under Linux using DBM and MySQL database systems
- Build graphical user interfaces for the X Windows system using GTX and QT libraries
- Develop their own real world applications
Course Includes:
- Class exercises in addition to training instruction
- Courseware books, notepads, pens, highlighters and other materials
- eBooks will be emailed to students registered for Live Online training the week prior to the start of class
