Course Overview

In this 3-day AWS course how to build complex solutions that incorporate data services, governance, and security on AWS. This Amazon AWS Training course introduces specialized AWS services, including AWS Direct Connect and AWS Storage Gateway to support hybrid architecture. It also covers designing best practices for building scalable, elastic, secure, and highly available applications on AWS. Students should complete the Architecting on AWS course before taking this course. This course prepares students for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Professional exam.

In this course, you will learn to:

  • Apply the AWS Well-Architected Framework
  • Manage multiple AWS accounts for your organization
  • Connect an on-premises data center to the AWS Cloud
  • Discuss billing implications of connecting multi-region VPCs
  • Move large data from an on-premises data center to AWS
  • Design large data stores for the AWS Cloud
  • Understand different architectural designs for scaling a large website
  • Protect your infrastructure from distributed denial of service (DDOS) attacks
  • Secure your data on AWS with encryption
  • Design protection of data at rest and data in transit
  • Enhance the performance of your solutions
  • Select the most appropriate AWS deployment mechanism

Candidates can choose to register for the course by via any of the below methods: Upon registration completion candidates are sent an automated course registration email that includes attachments with specific information on the class and location as well as pre-course study and test preparation material approved by the course vendor. The text of the email contains a registration confirmation as well as the location, date, time and contact person of the class. Online enrolment closes three days before course start date. On the first day of class, candidates are provided with instructions to register with the exam provider before the exam date.
